STANDON CALLING’S CASHLESS WRISTBANDS – Privacy information

We are Standon Calling Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales. Our company number is 7590807. Our registered address is 25 Horsell Road, London, N5 1XL.

We are a member of the Global Media and Entertainment Limited group of companies.

Standon Calling is currently a cashless event (the “Event”). You will only be able to gain access to the Event and make cashless payments (such as merchandise, food and drink) through the cashless wristband we issue you with.

This statement explains what information we collect in relation to your wristband at the Event and how we use it. You should view our main Privacy and Cookies Statement. to learn more about how we use other personal information.

How it works

Your wristband is embedded with an “RFID” chip. RFID stands for “radio frequency identification”. It is a form of wireless communication through the use of radio waves which are used to read and capture information stored on a chip that is attached to your cashless wristband. The RFID technology in your wristband is made available through a trusted third-party RFID platform provider.

Your cashless wristband is to be collected upon arrival at the event and will be linked to your Standon Calling booking. Upon receipt of your wristband, you will be able to access Standon Calling venues and top up your wristband with credit, in order to make purchases on event bars and merchandise stalls.

Please see the FAQs for more practical information such as how to register your account and how to use your wristband.

We will take steps to ensure that we and our RFID provider will have the appropriate measures in place to keep your information secure and safe and your information will be stored in line with our data retention policies.

Information we collect about you

You will need to provide your name and email address in order to register your RFID account.

You can choose whether to do this or not, however if you do, you will be able to manage your cashless payments online, receive notifications about your account, apply for refunds on unspent cashless credit and enable us to deactivate your wristband if it is lost or stolen.

When we issue you with your wristband at the Event, your wristband will hold a serial number linked to your Standon Calling booking. Your purchases and entry to the main venues at the Event will also be linked to your account. We will review this information to better understand your activities as described below.
